Standing!? Easy, now...

October 15, 2009

Yesterday Nick kept standing up. He has no balance whatsoever so he kept falling down but he controlled his fall by squatting then stood up again! He did this about seven times in a row. I would steady him and he just kept standing. I called to Joshua, Sarah and Kimberly to come and watch... he stopped to smile at them, but they all saw it.

....how about crawling first, OK, Bud?

Milestones!

The teeth have arrived! Nick's first tooth appeared on 9-23 and his second showed up on 9-27. They are razor-sharp and he's chewing on everything! He won't let us take a picture, he's too busy being active. It doesn't help that my camera is super slow! Grrrr!

Hit the road!

We've started riding bikes as the weather is cooling down and Nick's been enjoying the view from the baby trailer. Here we are on our way to pick up Ashley from school.

Halloween?

I've been going through some old boxes and found a flower costume that I made for Nick's sister 15 years ago. He makes an adorable flower. He left it on, too. It was hilarious because he was in his bouncer and giggling at his sister.

Big Boy!

Nick's getting too big for his 6 month size clothes. We've already moved on to 9 months and now he's started wearing 12 month sizes. He's 22 pounds and only 6 1/2 months old.

Sitting up and Rolling Over

Nicholas has been sitting up for a while and I've been trying to inspire him to crawl with tummy time. He's not interested. He sits on his hands and knees for a second then rolls over. He likes looking at the world upside-down. And he only rolls to the left...
